Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for counter-checking inward and outward transactions of warehousing and blasts freezing processes. The inspection covers both the quantity and quality of customer goods to ensure that goods are effectively managed and that they are free of defects in accordance with the customer’s specifications and external guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Conducts counterchecking and assessment of incoming and outgoing products using a variety of mathematical and statistical tools and techniques to ascertain its quality performance
• Inspects vehicle sanitation and condition to verify its conformance to product safety.
• Perform routine inspection and verification of warehouse operation in conformance to GOP, SSOP, HACCP, and company regulations.
• Keeps records of all quality checks and inspection conducted for reporting to facilitate decision making at management level.
• Transmits audited transaction records to Information Verifier.
• Assists Checkers in documenting noted deficiencies and deviation for the nonconforming products and recommends product disposition, if any.
• Recommend corrective suggestions for noted non-conformance/noncompliance, if any.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Provides analysis on customers' requirements in connection with products and checking products quality.
• Engages to continuous knowledge development with regards to rules, regulation, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
• Identify process improvements that lead to cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Accomplish, update and monitors tasks in accordance with the approved Key Results Areas and Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensures that all information which are confidential in nature is held in accordance with the company policy and regulations.
• Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time depending on its urgency and requirements of the job functions.

• Maintains record of inventories up to date.

Receiving

• Checks the quantity of products received based on receiving documents. Inform immediate Superior any variance that may be found.
• Ensures that discrepancies in quantity, quality, or transport defects are recorded in the Tally Form Inward, verified and signed by Shift Supervisor and client representative.
• Conducts shakedown of palletized transfers/deposits.
• Responsible for recording weight per carton per pallet as required.
• Responsible for placement of the computerized pallet tags (PID) and other visual control tags.
• Coordinates with Storekeeper on the storage location of SKU and stacking height.
• Responsible for the pallet assignment

Issuance

• Process orders received from Warehouse Assistant
• Provide picklist to Picker for order preparation.
• Ensures accurate and timely issuance of stocks pulled out by Picker. Oversees progress of picking operations. Verify the accuracy of orders that were pulled out by Pickers

• Ensures that the stocks are validated by the Immediate Superior before issuance to the client
• Document details of the stocks including but not limited to the vehicle plate number and stocks expiration date.
• Ensure that outbound documents are complete and all authorized personnel have signed

1.           JOB PURPOSE

              Manage and be responsible for all people and their activities in Engineering and Maintenance Department. Develop, implement and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs for the Operations plant and equipment.

2.           DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages and develops the Maintenance and Engineering function in accordance with business requirements.
2. Co-ordination and supervision of all Engineering and Maintenance personnel including improvement in response times to breakdowns and completion of all personnel tasks within the Department
3. To be hands-on in maintenance and engineering as and when required in order to fulfill business requirements
4. Co-ordination of service and planned maintenance of all machinery on site to ensure the safe working of all employees allied to maximizing efficiencies
5. Organization and supervision of all Engineering personnel to maintain agreed standard servicing levels and cover for breakdowns over agreed timescales
6. Minimization of downtime through machinery efficiencies
7. Management, coordination, and supervision of all external contractors in accordance with site policies and audit / legal requirements
8. Monitoring and controlling budgets
9. Supervision of site maintenance to comply with internal and customer audits
10. Completion of all necessary paperwork and reports relating to the Engineering Department as required by Management
11. Servicing of all machinery to agreed levels according to maintenance schedules
12. Fault finding and repair of machinery following breakdown on a cover/call-out basis with minimum disruption to the operation
13. Prevention of “dangerous practices” and responsibility for reporting and resolving any health and safety issues
14. Housekeeping of Engineering Plant Rooms
15. Other projects and responsibilities where appropriate in the running of the site.
