Responsibilities:

 

• Supervises Purchasing and Inventory Department staff
• Monitors proper implementation of purchasing guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensures timely delivery and sufficient stocks for warehouse and branches
• Maintains integrity of inventory records while following established procedures
• Supervises/Conducts periodic physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Monitors the turnover and expiration of products to avoid wastage
• Communicates with management any material shortages and quality issues
• Sources new suppliers for the Company’s needs
• Solicits and analyzes proposals and coordinates with suppliers to secure ideal prices and payment terms
