CPA - Taxation and Financial Compliance Specialist

We are committed to delivering excellence in various business domains, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled CPA Lawyer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Philippine taxation laws and financial statement preparations in the context of off-shoring within the BPO umbrella.


Position Overview:

The CPA - Taxation and Financial Compliance Specialist at Ascenders Business Solutions will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Philippine taxation laws and financial statement preparations. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding and mastery of local taxation regulations and demonstrate expertise in guiding the company through the intricacies of off-shoring within the BPO industry.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Philippine Taxation Compliance:

  •  Stay abreast of changes in Philippine tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company's compliance with all statutory requirements.
  •  Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring legal compliance.
  •  Conduct regular audits to identify potential tax risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.


2. Financial Statement Preparation:

  •  Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
  •  Collaborate with finance teams to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  •  Analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed recommendations to improve overall financial performance.


3. Off-shoring in the BPO Umbrella:

  •  Provide legal counsel on off-shoring strategies, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal and financial implications associated with off-shoring initiatives.
  •  Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal and financial risks associated with off-shoring activities.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:


1. Experience:

 - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Philippine taxation and financial compliance.

 - Proven track record of successfully navigating legal and financial challenges within the BPO industry.

 

2. Skills:

 - In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, financial accounting, and auditing principles.

 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
